NHK: Japanese company Hino Motors refused to set up a plant in Khimki

For the production of buses and trucks, the Japanese company Hino Motors will not establish a factory in Khimki. Reported by this TV channel NHK with reference to sources.

According to journalists, the refusal is related to tax issues and delays in the schedule. It was noted that Hino Motors’ decision is not directly related to the situation in Ukraine.

Hino Motors received permission to build a plant in Khimki in 2018. The total investment in the project was expected to be about 1 billion rubles.
