He pointed out that the Russian financial market remained indifferent to the world market due to mutual sanctions between Russia and the West. Therefore, according to the expert, the strengthening of the dollar will not affect the ruble.

At the same time, Glavina acknowledged that insecurity could weaken the dollar, partly because Russia’s assets in the West were blocked.

He stressed that the strengthening of the US currency will have a negative impact on the eurozone and most countries in Asia, Latin America and Africa. The economist believes that the situation with exporting countries: Japan, South Korea, Taiwan is better.

He added that the economic situation in India and China remains uncertain. Currencies need to hold up.
