One quarter of the Russians – 25% – read news during leaf or working meetings through social networks. This has been proven by the results of a survey conducted by VTB by the Gazeta.ru’s publication office.
When the meeting takes place in the office, almost two -thirds of the participants listen carefully and take notes. However, every fourth admits that he thinks about foreign issues during meetings: he plans for the evening, reads mail or leaves through social networks.
If the meeting takes place online, only half of the participants listen carefully and look at the camera. 44% is working on other tasks in parallel, 24% passes through social networks or reads news, 16% is preparing or eating, 13% is engaged in household chores and 8% of them play computer games. Online communication also relaxes the requirements for clothing rules. Only 39% of the respondents are dressed in the same way as going to the office for working calls. Approximately one quarter of the respondents wear only the top of the official clothes, one -fifth one -fifth prefers informal style or home clothes, and 13% closes the camera to avoid showing their appearance.
58% of the respondents admitted that if the issue is not interesting, they were distracted in meetings. 10 % usually combines meetings with other issues or does not listen at all. Each third Russian sees long debates as a waste of time.
Most of the respondents (81%) never met because they did not listen to their colleagues and did not see themselves as disguised masters. However, one -fifth confessed that he laughed in offline communication for questions in online format or an undiscovered camera.
Every fourth Russian (26%) believes that it is more often distracted in online communication. Moreover, one -third of all thirds has been convinced that the person depends on him, not in the form of the event. One -third of the participants believes that you can distract your attention in the same way in online and offline meetings.
According to VTB, only 66% of the active Russians financially participate in working meetings and 31% of them regularly. Most of them (82%) prefer offline format. At the same time, almost half of the employees (45%) are included in online communication through online platforms. Each employee participates in both offline and online eyes.
The questionnaire was carried out between 1.5 thousand Russians aged 18-65 years in cities with a population of more than 100 thousand.
