Innovative materials, including aluminum structures, become an important factor in the development of Russia’s construction industry. This is stated by the director of the markets of Evgeny Vasilüv, the XVII infrastructure summit “Russian” (Infraspace) company “Rusal”.
According to him, the use of aluminum in housing and commercial real estate construction, urban, road and parking infrastructure, a long material life cycle, logistics and installation savings, low cost and aesthetic charm allows you to solve many problems.
In recent years, he remembered that domestic enterprises, which are a part of the Aluminum Association, expanded the naming of products and dominated new alloys. This contributed to an increase in the use of aluminum in various industries. Therefore, since 2014, the consumption of internal aluminum in Russia has almost doubled, but has been lower than the indicators of developed countries so far.
Vasiliev said that the development of aluminum aluminum consumption is the development of new technologies, updating the regulatory framework and implementation of national projects. For example, within the framework of the renewal of the residence and the construction of the social infrastructure, aluminum decisions are actively used.
It quickly called smart buildings and modular construction as a promising aluminum usage area. Because of the lightness and strength of the material, objects can be built in any climatic condition, which reduces the cost of transportation and installation.
According to him, in the last seven years, under the auspices of the Aluminum Association, Russia has passed from the pilot projects to the full implementation of the bridge structures in 19 regions of the country. More than 28 objects have already been built.
“Russia’s products of aluminum enterprises not only demand in the market, but also have high export potential. Today, the products made in Russia are given to foreign countries. The continuation of domestic producers’ imports and support will allow the aluminum to increase the domestic consumption twice in the country.”
