Russia is negotiating for the procurement of $ 500 million aviation spare parts, which are pre -paid, but freeze the US against the background of sanctions. This was stated in an interview by the Minister of Industry and Trade Anton Alikhanov “Izvestia”.
Restricted components include critical systems such as TCAs (air conflicts in the air) and consumables produced by the American company Honeywell: brake discs, tires and engines. These elements are necessary to protect Airbus and Boeing Western Aircraft Park, which is operating in Russia.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade is ready to discuss the recognition of repair activities carried out by Russian companies without verifying original producers.
“Federal Air Transport Agency is already confirming some of the spare parts that allow you to maintain the suitability of foreign primer’s flights,” Alikhanov said.
According to him, this is particularly important in the conditions of sanction restrictions that prohibit the supply of technology and equipment for civil aviation.
In parallel, Russia improves the development of its own aircraft industry. By 2030, more than 770 billion rubles are planned for these purposes. Investments will reduce dependence on western components and increase the production of domestic counterparts, including the MS-21 aircraft and the Sukhoi Superjet series.
Experts emphasize the difficulties with sanctions. Andrei Patrakov, the founder of Runavia Service, said that flight safety requires additional effort without systems such as TCAS.
“However, Russian enterprises are gradually masating in repairing and replacing critical units,” he added.
Roman Gusarov, the editor of the Avia.ru portal, said the US could even prevent the materials of high -precision machines up to $ 30 million, but the Russian Federation has already led to the release of some certified spare parts.
