“Ukrainian GTS Operator” announced the possibility of compensating for “North Stream” interruptions

The Ukrainian GTS Operator (OGTSU) said that interruptions in the operation of the Nord Stream 1 gas pipeline can be compensated by other means. This is reported on the OGTS website.

In his statement, the operator stated that there are alternative transit corridors through the territory of Ukraine and Poland, pointing to the regular interruptions in the operation of this pipeline in the past months and the stopping of this route at the end of August.

Earlier it was known that Gazprom. suspend transporting gas through the Nord Stream gas pipeline for three days. The only working Trent 60 gas pumping unit will be shut down for three days on 31 August for maintenance and preventive maintenance.

After the completion of the repair work, gas transportation will be brought back to the level of 33 million cubic meters. m per day
