The 50 best Moscow restaurants featured in the updated Ultima Guide Yandex Food were announced at a ceremony held at the capital’s Theater on Malaya Bronnaya. The list features the best establishments in the city as chosen by neural network, customers and industry experts. This was reported by the company’s press service.
The service noted that with the help of the guide, residents and guests of the capital will be able to find restaurants that are definitely worth visiting in 2025.
The service first introduced Ultima Guide to Moscow a year ago. During this time, interesting new restaurants have emerged in the city and some user preferences have changed. For this reason, Eda analyzed approximately 30 thousand businesses in the city again in the autumn using the neural network.
To qualify for selection, an organization must meet more than 100 criteria. For example, do not depend on the network, be in Moscow and work for at least three months. At the same time, the restaurant does not need to connect to delivery through Yandex Food.
First, the neural network compiled a long list of 312 applicants, which included both well-known restaurants in the center of Moscow and small-budget cafes in residential areas. The list was first published by the service a week before the guide was published.
The next step was to vote. Over the course of a month, more than 100 market experts participated, as well as more than 21 thousand users who rated the menu, service, design and atmosphere of the restaurants.
Voting results were calculated by a specially developed Yandex rating model. The determining parameters were the dishes and their taste.
The guide’s methodology was created by Ekaterina Pugacheva, president of the jury of the World’s 50 Best Restaurants in Russia, Eastern Europe and Central Asia. Voting results were checked by Yakov and Partners.
One third of the establishments in the updated Moscow Ultima Guide Yandex Food are cafes and restaurants that were not included in the previous version. Some restaurants received special awards; for example, Maya became the first choice of users.
Food plans to make annual updates to the Ultima Guide in all cities where it operates. Also in the spring of 2025, St. Petersburg guide will be updated. In addition to the capitals, the service manual is also available in Sochi, Krasnoyarsk and Nizhny Novgorod, and will appear in five more cities this year.
