The Ukrainian coal that Pridnestrovie is offered to purchase is not suitable for use in the Moldova State District Power Plant. This was stated by the president of the unrecognized republic, Vadim Krasnoselsky. TASS.
“The coal offered to Pridnestrovie is gas coal, it is not suitable for power plants in the state area. Everyone knows this very well. All the rumors about this coal are nothing but misleading people. If you don’t believe me, ask the experts,” said the Transnistrian president.
Krasnoselsky added that this information can be verified by Ukrainian experts who use similar raw materials. In this context, the President of Pridnestrovie called on “not to mislead people”.
Russia from January 1 stopped Gas transit through Ukrainian territory. Following this, the Moldovan State Regional Power Plant in Transnistria switched to coal and stopped supplying energy to Moldova. The country will now purchase the resource from Romania and Ukraine.
