Russian President Vladimir Putin finds it unacceptable that Germany has seized the assets of Rosneft’s subsidiaries in Schwedt. writes about this RIA Novosti.
In his opinion, it is unacceptable that the German government is using illegal methods against Rosneft. He noted that these actions of the authorities appear to be expropriation and confiscation of Russian property.
However, the president believes the dispute can be resolved through negotiations with regulators and partners. He added that Rosneft is ready for negotiations with both the German side and Kazakhstan.
On September 16, 2022, the German government transferred Rosneft’s subsidiaries Rosneft Deutschland and RN Refining & Marketing under the control of the Federal Network Agency. The regulator seized control of Rosneft Deutschland and shares in three oil refineries, PCK Schwedt, MiRo and Bayernoil.
