The new chief executive of the Russian Federation, Ksenia Yudaeva, reportedly refused to clarify the status of her American visa RIA Novosti.
Last week it became clearIt was stated that Yudaeva, who left the Central Bank of Russia and has been under US sanctions since 2022, became the IMF’s general manager responsible for the Russian Federation and Syria. The fund is headquartered in Washington.
“We have no comment,” a representative of the organization responded to the question about Yudaeva’s visa.
Before Yudaeva, Alexey Mozhin was the IMF’s managing director for Russia. He has been holding this position since 1996. Yudaeva worked as First Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation from September 2013 to August 2023.
