Russian companies have repaid loans worth hundreds of millions of euros to Finland’s state-owned private financial institution Finnvera. This was reported by Yle.

Pauli Heikkilä, CEO of the Finnvera organization, talked about the details. The company was providing loans to major Russian projects related to the shipbuilding and forestry industries.

“Liabilities were quite significant: around 1 billion at the end of 2021. “By the end of 2022, this amount fell to 420 million euros, leaving less than 100 million euros at the end of last year,” he said.
