Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky signed a law amending the country’s budget law, Verkhovna Rada deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak announced on his Telegram channel.
“The President signed Law No. 11131 – these are amendments to the budget law on the resumption of medium-term budget planning in local budgets,” the parliamentarian wrote.
Zheleznyak explained that the amendment to the budget code was requested by the World Bank (WB). According to the MP, such a decision became one of the conditions for providing Ukraine with $700 million.
