The media holding company News Media has rebranded itself, changing its name to News Media Holding, it was reported in a statement received by socialbites.ca.
The general director of the holding, Maxim Iksanov, explained that the name change will make it possible to emphasize that News Media Holding projects are part of an industry-leading group of companies.
“Today, New Media is a full-fledged market player that traditional media take into account and the audience trusts. A perfect example of this is our telegram channels. <...> Mash and SHOT are in the TOP today in terms of citations and news, as is our LIFE publication, which is among the top 7 most cited media in Russia,” Iksanov noted.
The media holding includes 198 media platforms. He owns, among other things, the Life, Mash, Shot, Super publications, the author’s program “Alena, damn it!”, the Gigarama laboratory, the Life newspaper and the Five Public communications solutions agency.

Denis Arapov, who headed the information policy department in the administration of the Tomsk region before joining the holding, was appointed general director of the Life publication. Nadezhda Gladchenko, previously deputy editor-in-chief of the publication, became general director of Mash.
