One in three Russians has goods delivered to a pick-up point (POP) at least once a week, as evidenced by SDEK data reviewed by socialbites.ca.

One-third of respondents also go to a pickup location two to three times a month. 15% of respondents admitted to picking up online orders from pickup locations no more than once a week, and 10% admitted to picking up orders less frequently.

The vast majority of Russians (73%) arrange delivery at a pickup point near their home. One in ten respondents prefers to pick up their order at a pickup point near their workplace. 8% of respondents said they choose a pickup point at a stop along the way, and only 3.3% choose a pickup point near a kindergarten or school.

The number of online stores in Russia over the past three years took off seven times. Today, nearly 50 thousand entrepreneurs are doing online business, and the number of sellers exceeds 1 million.
