Vermouth production in Russia fell by a third in the first half of the year compared to the same period last year. RIA Novosti Roskachestvo reported.
According to experts, vermouth production exceeded the 6 million liter mark in 2023, increasing by almost 30% from 2022. However, vermouth production began to decline in 2024.
Roskoshestvo reported that from January to June 2024, 2.2 million liters of a drink labeled “vermouth” were produced, while in the same period in 2023, 3.27 million liters were produced.
