The Ministry of Construction of Russia proposed to adjust the average market price per square meter of housing in the regions for the fourth quarter of 2024. This is stated in the draft order published on the Federal Portal of Draft Regulatory Legal Acts, writes RBC.
According to the document, in some regions the cost per square meter will increase to 6.4 percent, in some regions it will decrease to 2.3 percent, and in some regions it will remain at the same level. The biggest growth is expected in the Astrakhan region (6.4 percent), Chechnya (5.6 percent) and Crimea (5.4 percent).
Cost reductions are expected in Dagestan (-2.3%), North Ossetia-Alania (-1.8%) and the Leningrad region (-0.9%). In St. Petersburg, the figure will not change and will remain at 165.3 thousand rubles. per square meter.
In Moscow, the cost will increase by 3.6 percent to 178 thousand rubles, and in the Moscow region – by 1.8 percent to 155.9 thousand rubles.
As stated in the explanatory note, the calculation is carried out according to the methodology of the Ministry of Construction, taking into account Rosstat data. These standards are used to calculate social payments from the federal budget to preferential categories of citizens for the purchase or construction of housing.
According to Dom.RF, the growth of housing prices in Russia has slowed down significantly after the completion of the concessional mortgage program.
