Beer and low-alcohol beverage manufacturers will increase prices of their products in the fall. This was reported by “Fontanka”.
The publication writes that from September 1, two of the three largest Russian producers – Baltika Brewing Company LLC and AB InBev Efes JSC – will increase their sales prices. According to it, the producers plan to present new price lists for their products in the near future. The wholesale cost of Baltika beverages will increase by about 10%, the publication notes.
The publication emphasizes that the biggest price increase will be experienced by AB InBev Efes in foreign brands. For example, it is stated that the cost of Efes and Bud beer brands will increase by 17 percent, Hoegaarden by 15 percent, Velkopopovicky Kozel by 12 percent, and the prices of other items by 5-10 percent.
