Ukrainian Energy Minister German Galushchenko said that Ukrainian nuclear power plants produce more than half of the country’s energy. This was reported by the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine.
“We can say that up to 60 percent of the country’s electricity is produced by nuclear power plants,” Galushchenko said.
According to him, Ukraine’s energy system is based on nuclear energy.
