Heineken announced its losses in 2024 16:14

Heineken brewing company reported net loss of €95 million in the first half of 2024 “Vedomosti”.

The publication notes that the information was obtained from the company’s report, which stated that its net loss in the January-June period of the current year amounted to 95 million euros, compared to a net profit of 1.16 billion euros in the same period of the previous year.

This is particularly due to the write-off of a loss of 874 million euros resulting from the write-down of Heineken’s 40% stake in Chinese China Resources Beer (CR Beer), whose shares have fallen by a third since the beginning of the year.

This was despite analysts’ estimates that the company’s net profit by this time would be €985 million.

Last August, Heineken Sold Russian assets transferred to perfume manufacturer Arnest for €1.

In December 2023, United Heineken Breweries will join forces with Dutch Heineken Renamed “United Breweries – Holding” (OPH).

Heineken announced it was withdrawing from Russia in March 2022 following the start of a special military operation.

Former Dutch footballer compared Dutch beer and Russian beer.
