The Russian Deputy Prime Minister also added that Moscow and Beijing discussed a number of joint projects in the electric power and coal industries, as well as the supply of liquefied natural gas (LNG).
Novak’s colleague, Deputy Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China Ding Xuexiang, said at the VI Russia-China Energy Business Forum that China increased its purchases of Russian oil by 4.8% in the first half of the year.
Previously, Russian President Vladimir Putin statedHe said that Russia’s energy supplies to China have reached record volumes.
Separately, the Russian leader praised the Russia-China energy business forum, which has enabled direct and constructive dialogue between businessmen from the two countries.
