The United States has extended the permit allowing its citizens and organizations to pay taxes and other mandatory payments in the interests of Russia until October 9, 2024. This was reported in its updated general text. LicensesPublished by the US Treasury Department.
The document states that American individuals and organizations will be able to pay taxes, duties or import duties for an additional three months, as well as obtain or be granted permits, licenses and registrations for their daily activities in the Russian Federation.
Thus, the American authorities are making an exception to the sanctions previously imposed on the Central Bank, the National Welfare Fund (NWF) and the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation. The general license states that it does not allow “debiting the accounts of the Central Bank, the National Welfare Fund and the Ministry of Finance on the balance sheet of a US financial institution.”
Before this, the USA contributed Changes have been made to sanctions against individuals and organizations in the Russian Federation, adding a warning about the threat of secondary restrictions on transactions with them.
