The cheapest place to stay overnight in summer is Rostov-on-Don and hotels in Asian countries. This was reported by DEA News with a link to travel planning service OneTwoTrip.
Service experts studied the cost of three-star hotels from July to September and compiled a rating of 20 budget destinations.
In Russia, the cheapest hotels in the specified period are in Rostov-on-Don (about 2 thousand rubles per room per day), Smolensk (2.1 thousand rubles), Ufa (2.3 thousand).
In Astrakhan, you will have to pay 2.4 thousand rubles per night in a hotel, in Krasnodar, Perm and Tver – 2.5 thousand, in Saratov and Samara – 2.6 thousand, in Barnaul – 2.7 thousand rubles.
It turns out that in some Asian countries hotel prices are lower than in Russia. In Da Nang, Vietnam, until the end of September, you can book a room in a three-star hotel for an average of only 1.2 thousand rubles per day, in Bangkok – 1.4 thousand, in Kuta – 1.5 thousand.
Also, travelers who choose countries with cheap housing can consider vacationing in Hanoi (1.6 thousand rubles per night), Phuket (1.8 thousand) and Kuala Lumpur (2 thousand rubles). Also in three-star hotels in Pattaya and Ubud, you can spend no more than three thousand rubles per night.
