The average size of microloans in Russia at the end of May exceeded 10 thousand rubles, writes “lenta.ru” Referring to the press release of the National Bureau of Credit Histories (NBKI).

Last month, Russians received microloans amounting to an average of 10.06 thousand rubles (+0.5% compared to April). For comparison: in May 2023 the figure was 9.15 thousand rubles. Thus, the average size of microcredit in the country increased by 9.9% last year.

Muscovites borrowed the most money through microloans in May, with an average of 12.14 thousand rubles. Also in the top three are St. Petersburg (11.17 thousand rubles) and the Moscow region (10.92 thousand rubles).

In total, according to May results, Russians has taken Microloans reached a record figure of 81.4 billion rubles in a year and a half. Experts attribute this dynamic to the activities of borrowers, including those whose incomes have sharply increased.
