“Our trade was between $10 and $15 billion a year. “Today, Russia and I exceed $60 billion, maybe $70 billion,” he said.
Jaishankar emphasized that resources and technology are needed for economic growth. Russia is one of the largest suppliers of energy raw materials and many other categories of goods to the Asian country.

The Russian Federation exported 15.1 million tons of energy to the country at the end of the 2023-2024 fiscal year, which ended on March 31.
