Alfa-Bank and the Faculty of Computer Science of the Higher School of Economics of the National Research University have launched a joint master’s program called “Product Approach and Data Analytics in HR Management”, according to the bank’s press service.
As Alfa-Bank HR Director Marat Ismagulov emphasized, the opening of the master’s degree at HSE was an important step in reflecting the bank’s experience in HR technology.
“At Alpha, we manage not only to create groundbreaking services for employees, but also to change the approach to HR development. We successfully use product and data-focused approaches from business to internal services. “We want to transfer all this experience to take the HR technology industry to a new level,” he said.
It was noted that the program will be taught face to face. It will be managed by experts not only from HR, but also from the entire Alfa-Bank. Participation applications are accepted between 19 June and 25 July.
HSE Vice-Rector Sergei Roshchin noted that the new master’s program is the first training program that trains specialists who can work with information technologies and services in HR management.
It continues the technological revolution in HR management and trains completely new personnel. “If previously human resources management specialists were mainly psychologists, lawyers and managers, the new master’s program will train unique specialists with the competencies of business analysts, IT technology and HR-technologists,” he said.
According to him, the program provides basic training and also develops competencies in the field of labor market and personnel management. Roshchin emphasized that they aim to specialize in the most advanced IT technologies and services.
It is stated that graduates of the master’s program will become highly qualified product managers with unique competencies. Alfa-Bank’s financing will cover 100% of the tuition fees of the first 30 candidates accepted to the program. At the same time, graduates will receive a state diploma from the Higher School of Economics.
