Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer is considering developing a new narrow-body aircraft that could compete directly with the Boeing 737 MAX and Airbus A320 in an important market segment for both companies. Bloomberg writes about this, citing sources.
According to them, internal evaluations showed that Embraer has the technological competencies and manufacturing capabilities necessary to create a next-generation passenger aircraft.
