The meeting with Novak was attended by the Ministry of Energy, FAS, Ministry of Agriculture, Russian Railways and St. Petersburg. Representatives of the St. Petersburg International Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange (SPIMEX) also attended. Meeting participants held discussions discussing the balance of supply and demand for motor fuel, as well as pricing policy for both wholesale and retail sales.
The Ministry of Energy noted that fuel reserves in Russia remain at a consistently high level. Representatives of oil companies noted that Russian Railways has improved the situation by removing fuel from refineries.
