Sberbank’s ESG Senior Vice President Tatyana Zavyalova said that the responsible credit portfolio could reach 3.1 trillion rubles by the end of 2024 and 3.4 trillion rubles by the 2026 horizon.
According to the results of the 2023 studies, Zavyalova noted that there was an increase in new sustainable loan issuances; these grew 3.5 times to 1.26 trillion rubles. “Portfolio growth dynamics exceeded the bank’s forecasts,” she emphasized.
“During the three years of implementing its ESG strategy, Sber has actually established a new direction of work in corporate business – this is responsible financing and the provision of ESG products and services,” said Tatyana Zavyalova.

Sber’s responsible financing portfolio includes contracts with ESG contracts, green, adaptation and social loans.
