FAS did not rule out increasing the standard for fuel sales in the derivatives market 21:33

The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) considers 1% of the fuel sales standard in the derivatives market to be sufficient, but does not rule out that this will be increased in the future. This was reported by RBC Referring to FAS Deputy Chairman Vitaly Korolev.

“It seems to us that such a standard is now sufficient. We will see how the derivatives market will continue to work, how much demand it will have and perhaps its share will increase, Korolev told reporters during the “Exchange Commodity Market 2024” forum.

The FAS representative reminded that the standard is currently not mandatory and is advisory. At the same time, as Korolev noted, this tool still helps stabilize prices on the market.

Before reportedIt was stated that FAS imposed a fine of 110 million rubles on fuel companies NTK LLC and Kubanioil LLC. Anti-monopoly officers discovered that the organizations had signed an anti-competitive agreement on the division of tenders for the supply of gasoline and diesel fuel into 160 auctions with a total starting price of 950 million rubles.

Previously recognizedIt was stated that FAS plans to stabilize construction reinforcement prices in the Russian Federation.
