Currently, 57 brands of cars from China are represented in the Russian Federation. For comparison: in 2021 there were only 11 of them: Chery, Haval, Geely, Changan, Exeed, Omoda, JAC, FAW, Great Wall, GAC and Dongfeng.
At the same time, only 30 of 57 Chinese brands have official representation in Russia. The rest are unofficially represented in the country. Some even announced that they were withdrawing from the Russian market, but deliveries continued.
“Many people have not even heard of the brands we have in the automobile market. Probably in 10-15 years not all brands will remain, but we, as vehicle owners, will choose which ones will remain,” said ROAD President Alexey Poshchekoldin.
