The head of the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Peter Szijjártó, criticized European Council President Charles Michel, who called for the transfer of the EU economy to a “war base” amid the conflict in Ukraine. This was reported by TASS.

However, the minister emphasized that this process should not be affected by the events in Ukraine.
“It is extremely dangerous for the President of the European Council to talk about creating a war economy and transferring operations to a war zone due to the Ukraine conflict. These words themselves create extreme risk,” Szijjártó said on Hungarian radio station Kossuth.
