Congress approves US government financing project

The US House of Representatives has approved a $1.2 trillion federal government funding project. This was reported by RIA News.

The publication notes that the project was approved on the eve of the closure. While 286 legislators spoke in favor of passing the bill, 134 congressmen spoke against it. The initiative will be sent to the United States Senate for consideration.

The project is considering funding from the U.S. federal government by the end of fiscal year 2024. The project also includes $300 million in aid to Ukraine and $3.3 billion in aid to Israel.

The day before, the Senate of the US Congress approved A bill that would provide funds for the operation of various federal departments through September 30, 2024. The initiative required the votes of 60 senators to be approved in the upper house of Congress, and at least 75 voted in favor. On March 6, the House of Representatives supported the bill.
