It was noted that SME Bank’s loan portfolio exceeded 73 billion rubles by the end of 2023, increasing by 23.7% compared to 2022.
General Director of SME Corporation and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of SME Bank Alexander Isaevich said that SME Bank has important goals following the additional capitalization of 9 billion rubles in 2022.
“First, the increase in the number of support recipients and the increase in distribution volume, combined with positive financial results. The second goal is to ensure financial sustainability while maintaining capital adequacy. “In 2022-2023, the bank became profitable and increased the scope and volume of financial support,” he said.
As the head of the SME Company explained, such a development was made possible thanks to the revision of internal procedures, improvement of the scoring system and the introduction of digitalization. According to him, the bank plans to increase its loan portfolio by at least 20% this year.
Ivan Podbereznyak, Chairman of the Board of Directors of SME Bank, stated that the bank’s team is focused on the development and more active implementation of targeted products to support the real sector of the economy, which includes manufacturing companies and the tourism sector, as well as high-tech sectors. companies.
