VTB began working under the Moscow government’s preferential loan program for entrepreneurs in priority sectors, the bank’s press service reported.
Small and medium-sized businesses will be able to receive up to 30 million rubles per year for development at a rate of up to 13%. The preferential interest rate is valid for 1 year.
VTB explained that the program is valid for entrepreneurs working in sectors of the economy such as production, IT, export, social sphere, research and development, healthcare, sports, recreation, tourism, hotel management, entertainment, creative industries and others.
To take advantage of the bank’s offer, the company must be included in the unified register of small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as be registered in Moscow as a legal entity or individual entrepreneur.
As noted by VTB Deputy Chairman and Chairman of the Board of Directors Denis Bortnikov, as part of the development strategy for 2024-2026, the bank plans to significantly increase the volume of financing for medium and small businesses in all regions of Russia and evaluates government programs as a resource for customers An effective tool to reduce cost.
“Moscow entrepreneurs always actively participate in them – the portfolio of VTB loans in the capital within the framework of all existing state programs exceeds 83 billion rubles,” he said.
According to Bortnikov, the issuance of loans under the Moscow government’s expanded program will further support businesses in priority sectors, including high-tech sectors of the economy.
VTB added that customers will be able to obtain concessional loans for working capital replenishment, investment purposes, refinancing and business development.
