The Italian company Teddy Group, owner of the Terranova and Calliope clothing brands, decided to expand its presence in Russia by opening mono-brand women’s clothing stores under the Rinascimento brand. This was announced by the representative of the new brand Tatyana Minaeva in an interview. RBC.
The brand’s first store was opened in the Evropeisky shopping and entertainment center on Kievsky Station square in Moscow.
A representative of this shopping and entertainment center, which is part of the Kiev Ploshchad group, confirmed this information, explaining that the store area exceeds 90 square meters. Minaeva added that Rinascimento plans to open points in other shopping centers in Russia in the future, without specifying specific regions.
Teddy Group was founded in Italy in the 1960s and also owns the men’s clothing brand QB24, which is not yet officially represented in Russia. The company’s mono-brand stores operate in 80 countries, with more than 800 stores in Italy alone. The group’s 2022 turnover amounted to 671 million Euros; This is a record result in the entire history of the company. Approximately 20 new Terranova and Calliope stores have been opened in Russia in the last two years. The Rinascimento brand has so far only been offered in Lamoda and Stockmann stores.
