Kiev hopes to receive financial aid from Washington as early as March

Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis Shmygal said that Kiev could receive financial aid from the United States in early March, although the American Congress has not yet agreed on a bill on this issue. This was reported by RIA News.

According to him, the US Senate assured Kiev that this would happen because it “approved this draft law.” Shmygal emphasized that the American Congress is now expected to make a decision on this issue.

The Prime Minister added that aid from Western countries will help Ukraine close its budget deficit.
