The Russian Council of Ministers lifted the temporary ban on antitrust audits of IT companies due to a large number of complaints about violations of digital companies. This was officially reported by the press center of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS). telegram channel.

The publication states, “The Russian government has lifted the moratorium on anti-monopoly inspections of IT companies.”

According to the agency, the removal of anti-monopoly control from the temporary ban will help protect the rights of individuals and entrepreneurs, effectively combat the abuse of dominant position by companies and allow the development of healthy competition in the field of information technology.

The relevant document will come into force on March 28 of this year.
