Candidate of Economic Sciences and financial analyst Mikhail Belyaev warned that prices of all categories of food products will increase in Russia. His words guide the way ura.ru.
The economist said there is no decline or stabilization in the market. He cited the prices of chicken and eggs as examples.
“Last year prices increased by 60 percent. We are now receiving information that they will become cheaper. Although the egg price tag fell only 2.5% and the chicken price tag fell 3%. This cannot be called a demotion,” Belyaev noted.
The expert believes that the cost of products has increased primarily due to the fact that retail chains are responsible for pricing. According to him, retailers inflate the prices of goods using sanctions, exchange rate fluctuations and other reasons.
