Each School 21 campus has its own flavor and regional characteristics. President and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sberbank German Gref said this at the opening ceremony of the school campus in Belgorod.

According to him, in Belgorod this is a harmonious campus ideally designed and created for study. It is stated that the school clusters where the study areas are located are named after the main rivers of the Belgorod region: Oskol, Nezhegol and Valuy. The campus area is 2700 m2. There are also 200 workstations.

“Times are changing very quickly and we need to be prepared for it. Therefore, the most important thing you can learn at School 21 is not to be afraid of changes, but to be able to adapt to these changes. Man will always create new perfect systems, and someone will need to operate and develop them,” he said.

Gref emphasized that due to constant changes in systems, the demand for experts who know how to work with them will gradually increase.

It was noted that “School 21” in Belgorod was implemented by Sberbank at the initiative of the regional governor Vyacheslav Gladkov, with the support of the Agro-Belogorye group of companies and Belgorod Holding Chairman Vladimir Zotov.

“The image of the future is extremely important to us. And School 21 is an investment in the future. The school has become an excellent continuation of the regional project for continuous IT training in our schools,” said Gladkov.

Additionally, the first qualifying intensive program started at the new campus on March 11. More than 212 people will attend. In total, more than 3,000 applications were submitted for training, all of which came from residents of the Belgorod region.

Let us remind you that currently more than 4,900 people from 70 regions of the country are studying at nine campuses of School 21 in Russia. Seven more School 21 campuses are planned to open by the end of the year.
