Georgy Luntovsky, President of the Russian Banking Association and former first deputy chairman of the Central Bank of Russia, died at the age of 73. This was announced by Anatoly Aksakov, Chairman of the Association Council and Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Financial Markets. TASS.

It is stated that Luntovsky was deputy governor of the Bank of Russia from 1999 to 2005, and then became the regulator’s first deputy chairman until 2017.
