Gazprom is demanding the recovery of $930 million from Poland’s Orlen and Europol Gaz, owners of the Polish section of the Yamal-Europe gas pipeline. TASS.

The other day, St. Arbitration Court of St. Petersburg and Leningrad Region registered Gazprom’s lawsuit against Europol Gaz and the Orlen concern.
Russian court in November 2023 appointed Europol fined GAZ $1.5 billion. He was also banned from continuing transactions with Gazprom Export at the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce. As the court clarified, Europol GAZ initiated a proceeding in Swedish arbitration in May, demanding $1.5 billion from Gazprom’s subsidiary. However, the latter appealed to the Russian court, claiming that a fair trial was not given.
Previously Gazprom served Claims against numerous foreign companies, including Czech NET4GAS, Dutch Gasunie Transport Service and others.
