Tax revenues of the consolidated budget of the Russian Federation in 2023 increased by 7.7% to RUB 36.2 trillion by 2022. The newspaper writes about this “News” With reference to calculation data on the FinExpertiza network.

According to the Federal Tax Service, oil and gas revenues decreased by 13.6% due to market fluctuations and low hydrocarbon prices. Mineral extraction tax collections fell 11.1% to RUB 9.5 trillion. However, non-oil and gas revenues increased by 16%, or 3.8 trillion₽.
More than 27% (₽10 trillion) of all collections came from mineral extraction tax. In second place is income tax (22%), which increased by 25% to RUB 8 trillion. The newspaper says the business also paid excess profits tax of ₽315.5 billion.
VAT within the country provided 20% of revenues, personal income tax – 18%, property taxes – 5%, personal income tax – 4%.
The largest increases in taxes were in Moscow (+₽1.95 trillion), St. It took place in St. Petersburg, Moscow region, Sverdlovsk and Leningrad regions. Wages fell in oil and gas regions such as the Irkutsk region, the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug and Yakutia.
The Federal Tax Service foresees maintaining at least the current level of income in 2024. The economy has adapted to new realities and the budget is gradually being de-dollarised, with non-oil and gas taxes being increased to +20% by 2021.
