Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin signed a decree approving the list of economically important organizations. This was reported by TASS.
The publication notes that six major holding companies are included in the list. Among them: coal mining company Razrez Arshanovsky, LLC City Supermarket (manages Azbuka Vkusa hypermarkets), three companies from Alfa Group: X5 Group (manages Perekrestok and Pyaterochka supermarkets), JSC AB -Holding (owner of Alfa Bank) and UNS Holding LLC (beneficiary of Alfastrakhovanie) as well as mineral fertilizer manufacturer Acron Group JSC.
Being economically important will allow the controlling shareholders of these organizations to secure rights that they cannot exercise due to Western sanctions.
Before that the Ministry of Economic Development voiced Approximate number of companies to be included in the list of economically important organizations. Torosov also noted that the list could be expanded if necessary.
