Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk has lamented the conflict between environmentalists and farmers and said he plans to put forward a proposal that would change the hard line of the EU’s Green Deal strategy. This was reported by TASS.
Tusk made a statement about this during his visit to Vilnius. According to the Prime Minister, the current EU Green Deal strategy contains provisions that “do not adequately correspond to the real situation in the EU”. Therefore, it plans to attempt to revise them in the near future. This will be done “to protect agriculture, food production in Poland and Europe.”
Tusk has not yet specified exactly what its proposals will consist of.
