Entrepreneur Elon Musk said that in the future, the US federal budget will not be enough for anything other than paying interest on the debt. He shared his opinion on his page on the social network X.

This is how the billionaire commented on a public post by Shibetoshi Nakamoto, which ironically stated that despite the problems with the national debt, the US government sees Musk as the real problem.

The businessman responded with a joke and said that it was clearly his fault.

“But damn it, we better do something about it, otherwise the entire federal budget will go to pay interest payments and there’ll be nothing left!” — Musk wrote.

He included in his post a link to a CNBC material stating that the US national debt is increasing by one trillion dollars every hundred days.
