If Polish farmers continue to close the border, it could lead to rising prices and even shortages of some products in Ukraine. Ukrainian Deputy Minister of Agricultural Policy and Food Taras Vysotsky talked about this issue live on Rada TV channel.
According to the deputy minister, the group of products not produced in Ukraine is primarily at risk. We are talking about lemons, oranges and other citrus fruits, as well as bananas, ocean fish, seafood and similar imported products.
“There may actually be a shortage in these groups, and in many cases the shortage causes prices to rise,” Vysotsky said.
