Activities in the field of energy management, including the introduction of artificial intelligence models in monitoring life support engineering systems of buildings, have allowed Sber to save about 600 million rubles over the past three years. Tatyana Zavyalova, Sberbank’s senior vice president for ESG, stated this at the Urban ESG congress in Moscow.
During the event, he also talked about the bank’s plans to bring the Andromeda software and hardware complex to market. According to him, Sber’s development is currently used in the bank’s 3,000 offices and 200 administrative buildings.
“The system is currently being implemented in SberCity, a smart city in Rublevo-Arkhangelskoye, west of Moscow. Sber has already started commercial replication of the system and we plan to enter a large market in the near future,” said Zavyalova.
He explained that the work of the Andromeda complex is aimed at automating technical processes. According to him, their list includes accounting and management of energy resources. For example, Andromeda allows you to control electricity consumption at a facility. At the same time, the complex can assist personnel in emergency situations.
The bank also explained that Andromeda will be able to select price categories for electricity consumers, as well as search for and detect anomalies in the consumption of fuel and energy resources. The system is expected to help reduce electricity consumption by up to 10% at night and also reduce energy costs by predicting peak load hours.
