“People who are just starting their careers quickly strive to become more experienced personnel, compromising their work-life balance and even their financial motivation system. At the same time, young professionals prefer organic growth with the team rather than a competitive environment. 60 percent of respondents stated that they would like to establish close relationships with colleagues: make friends, communicate regularly and meet outside working hours, spend free time together,” the company’s press service noted.
30% of respondents noted the importance of a warm atmosphere, support and mutual understanding, but only during working hours, and only one in ten chooses personal detachment and interaction only on work-related matters.
Two-thirds (70%) of young people want continuous development support and regular feedback from their superiors. Only 20% think detailed control and monitoring of their work is important, and only 10% expect full independence in their work.
However, the most global trend among Millennials and Generation Z remains job hopping. More than 90% of respondents want to change jobs every year, the remaining 10% are ready to work in the same company for two to three years.
The company conducted a survey among 1,500 Russians aged 18-25 at the end of February 2024. 53 percent of them are women and 47 percent are men. The survey hinted at variability in responses.
