Alexander Amiragyan, director of fuel and energy industries economics at the Center for Economic Development, says a gas hub in Iran would give Russia the opportunity to enter South Asian markets. He shared this view in an interview. RIA News.

“But there are many unresolved problems and risks along this path,” the economist emphasized.

Meanwhile, according to the economist, Qatar will not show much interest in the center; Amiragyan noted that the country is already one of the leaders in the LNG market and is successfully monetizing its gas reserves.
