When trying to transfer money, users receive an unknown server error message asking them to refresh the page. The update does not affect the status in any way.
21 February Central Bank recalled License from Qiwi Bank, the operator of the Contact payment system. According to the Central Bank, JSC QIWI Bank violated federal laws on banking activities, as well as regulations of the Central Bank of Russia. Additionally, Qiwi Bank regularly violated laws regarding money laundering and terrorist financing.
